Montel, has always harboured an interest in the creative industries. Emerging from a background devoid of immediate role models within the field, he often found himself taking initiative and letting his results speak for themselves.
His journey through modelling has afforded him invaluable learning experiences from esteemed directors, producers, stylists, and other creatives. This exposure underscored the significance of every role behind the scenes in bringing ideas to fruition, whether as a billboard, store screen visual, new website, or complete song.
His foray into modelling and social media led to an opportunity as a Creative Director Assistant for the Australian/UK-based publication TIRADE WORLD. In this role, he organized shoots, styled talent, liaised with brands, wrote blogs, and more.
Transitioning from TIRADE WORLD, he ventured into freelance producing, collaborating with Unwanted FC. Noteworthy projects included directing campaigns in partnership with UMBRO UK and Nike Australia to promote the Matilda’s kit release for the WWC 2023. Subsequently, he embarked on a more official capacity with SWEATS COLLECTIVE, contributing to their UK Expansion campaign and undertaking brand trips to London for content production and networking endeavors.
Newly, he's initiated a YouTube series titled ‘For You, By Me’, where he DJs in the comfort of his own setting, mixing music he loves with the people he loves. Currently self-funded, he aspires to expand the series show, turning a hobby into a lifestyle/career.
He strongly believes in the abundance of local talent and is committed to spotlighting and offering opportunities to those with similar ambitions, creating a platform for Australian talent to thrive.
